St. Nicholas Cathedral School 2014 March Forward Challenge
Please support our March Forward, a campaign to ensure that the skills and inspiration we impart at St. Nicholas Cathedral School (SNCS) are safeguarded for this–and future–generations of students. So this month, we’re throwing down a challenge: we’re asking everyone to give $100 to ensure our school continues to thrive. Your donation is secure, tax-deductible, and as simple as clicking
Three minutes, tops. Promise.
Like many schools across the country, we’ve struggled to keep our doors open. Over the past year, the greater school community pulled together to wrap their arms around St. Nicholas—it’s a story being told in the Chicago Tribune, from the pulpits, and in the bakery line at Ann’s.
If you’ve never visited the school, we encourage you to head over to Ukrainian Village, step through the beautiful new doors painted by a SNCS alum and see what’s inside. You’ll notice more than a fresh paint job (although we’re mighty proud of that)—you’ll meet our nationally acclaimed principal, Dr. Susan Kurland; teachers with a renewed sense of purpose; and 125 children engaged in their studies with joyful spirits. We think you’ll like what you see.
We know these are economically challenging times, and many worthy causes are vying for your support. Close your eyes: Imagine your elementary school desk, your locker, and your best friends. Now remember the first teacher who asked you to believe in yourself.
Join our March Forward.
Please open you heart, and give what you can. It matters.
