Congratulations to Anastasiya and Sophia who not only competed their research project at the Illinois Junior Academy of Science (IJAS) State Exposition at Millikin University today, but WON THE GRAND PRIZE – Junior Division Clean Water Award and cash prize from the Illinois Water Environment Association. The IJAS exposition is the largest high school and middle school research competition in Illinois. Anastasiya and Sophia were selected to advance from the regional exposition at the Museum of Science and Industry, and join the top students from schools across Illinois as they exhibit their research and design investigations, competing for scholarships and awards. We are so proud of our 7th and 8th grade scientists who not only advanced, but competed and were recognized for their outstanding water quality research project!
